The Municipal Cannabis Regulators Network (MCRN) is a professional network of local government cannabis administrators who oversee medical and/or recreational marijuana regulations in boroughs, cities, townships and villages across the United States. MCRN chapters are organized by states. Municipal cannabis regulators in a state work to build a positive and supportive community among local government cannabis administrators in their state.
How it works
Step 1:
We survey the local government cannabis administrators in a state to determine the needs of municipal cannabis regulators. If the survey reveals that local government cannabis regulations officials want more training and professional development opportunities made available to them, then the National Council of Municipal Cannabis (NCMC) office works with local regulators to develop a chapter.
Step 2:
An advisory board is formed to provide guidance on network programs, membership services and dues. The advisory board consist of several local regulators. If you are interested in developing a MCRN chapter in your state for local government cannabis regulators, please email the NCMC office at info@municannabis.org for more information.
